Mercy Interest Form

Mercy ministry is the church’s calling to show the compassion of Christ in tangible ways—meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those who are hurting or vulnerable. It’s about stepping into brokenness with the love of Jesus, offering hope, care, and practical help that point people back to Him.

Provide tangible help: using time and skills to assist with general home maintenance and yard care needs I transportation to worship/events.

Do you have a desire to share the gospel over the fence but also struggle to do it?  Consider joining a 7 Week Missional Community.

A Missional Community is a 7 week small group (8-15 people) for people who have a heart for sharing the gospel "over the fence" and who also greatly struggle to do it!  We'll read through Sam Chan's "How to Talk About Jesus Without Being That Guy," share stories and pray.  In the words of Bob McNabb, "the single greatest determining factor as to whether people multiply themselves is not the level of their maturity, the amount of training they have received...but it is whether or not they are immersed in a disciple making team."  Will begin Tuesday November 4th 11:45 - 1:15 at OMPC (can be over zoom or in person).  Email Dax Gibson for any questions.
